Just a reminder…dogs and chocolate don’t mix.

Chocolate will not only make your dog sick, but can be fatal in large doses.  Please PLEASE keep Halloween candy out of reach of your pups. If you have counter surfers like me, that means on top of the refrigerator. 🙂

But, as stealthy as our furry babies can be, just in case someone gets into something they shouldn’t, call your vet immediately, or if they are not open, call the ASPCA Poison Control Center at 888-426-4435 to see if the amount your dog has ingested is cause for worry.  Warning!! According to their website, a $65 consultation fee may be applied to your credit card.
