Yep, the world olympics are over, but they’re not the only ones worth watching and the First Annual Pet Olympics, driven by Mickey Mueller, owner of Waggin Tails Training and Dog Daycare will even help a good cause.
Come join us September 29th at Waggin Tails from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for fun and games with your dog, dog treat baking contests and to help the Pet Food Program at Dunn County Stepping Stones. I admire Mickey so much for taking this cause to heart and helping those in financial difficulties keep their beloved pets. As someone who has worked in rescue for many years, I never stopped being amazed at the number of dogs who get surrendered simply because their family can no longer feed and care for them, no matter how well loved they are. It’s hard enough some times to make things work without having to lose your beloved companion, as well.
Bifrost Farms has purchased a Gold Sponsorship, so look for our tent and table at this event, giving out free dog food samples and offering complimentary nutrition consultations for your pet.
